Our 2016 Conference is fast approaching! Here's an early look at this year's offerings
We are very excited about our fall 2016 conference, to be held Friday, Oct. 21 at James Madison University. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Sharon Faber, will provide insights and techniques on how teachers in all subject areas can help struggling students overcome the reading/writing achievement gaps. We'll also offer principal-only breakouts on literacy and leadership, and 30+ sessions on a variety of topics, tools and tips for middle level educators.

Region IV leads the list with five schools (Kilmer MS, Longfellow MS, Rocky Run MS, Farmwell Station MS and J. Michael Lumsford MS) earning the highest statewide honor. Joining them is Midlothian MS from Region I. Twenty-three other VMSA member schools also earned VIP honors.
