Hello, my name is Davida Staton, I am your Region V Director.  I have been in education for nineteen years; teaching 9 years at the elementary level and 10 years at the middle school level.  During the past ten years, I have had the pleasure of teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts and most recently, 6th and 7th grade Math. 

            My years teaching at the middle school level have been the most rewarding years of my career.  I have learned students in middle school need you more than ever as they are striving to find their way in the world of adolescence.  Middle school is the perfect opportunity to model and teach students how to make good decisions which lay the foundation for their future.

            As a life-long educator, I would like to continue my career as an administrator.  I believe as an administrator, I will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of more students.
